So I know we just posted the other day, but we had a doctor's visit yesterday and I know everyone is sitting by their laptop, desktop, iPhone, or web enabled TV, refreshing the page every 3 minutes (some more, some less, but I figured 3 minutes was a good average) or so!
Well, the big news is two fold:
1) Christie and Baby are doing great! All the bloodwork came back just fine, so that took some stress off of us (even though we knew everything would be fine, there's always that little thing in the back of your mind that says... what if?)
2) We heard Baby's heartbeat for the first time! It was pretty cool... To all the parents out there that have experienced this before - We now understand what you mean (at least partially)... Baby kept moving around so it took a couple of tries to hear it for longer than a couple of seconds... Crazy!
Apparently, the little one is about the size of a fig now... Thankfully this information was also accompanied with a measurement: 1 1/2 inches long, because I'm not sure I've ever seen a fig in person.
Also, I decided to stop saying his/her and he/she and decided to go with "Baby"... yep, that'll suffice until we find out in March!
We get more excited every day... Until next time!
